KINGSTON LADIES SUPPORT PINK RIBBON DAY

The annual Pink Ribbon brunch raises funds to continue the nationwide campaign of cancer awareness in PNG. This worthy cause was proudly supported by KK Kingston Ltd in both Port Moresby and Lae.

The Port Moresby event was held at the Crown Plaza hotel. “It was a very good turn out with lots of support from the Port Moresby business community,” commented Nobi Vuapak, one of the Kingston representatives at the brunch. Lucky door prizes, best dressed competition, auctions, lucky door prizes and raffle draws raised a healthy total of K14, 000 during the event. For Gwen Moide the highlight of the day was a testimony by a nursing sister, who had successfully battled breast cancer, “It was very moving and touching to hear her story. It makes you proud to be supporting this cause.”

The Lae Yacht Club was looking pretty in Pink for the Lae event. Nine KK Kingston ladies attended the fund raiser in support. Everyone was pleased to be helping drive the campaign of cancer awareness in Morobe province and the nation.
