PAPA GETS TUFFA TANKS

During World Water Day celebrations Papa primary school in the Central province plea for assistance was answered when they received three (3) 9,000L Tuffa water tanks on Friday 20th March 2015, thanks to KK Kingston Limited.

Papa Primary School celebrated World Water day with a full program of activities and visiting VIPs from Water PNG. Water PNG COO, Mr Bill Limu opened the celebrations, educating the children and teachers on the importance of freshwater and sustainable management of freshwater resources.

Papa Primary School has had its fair share of water concerns. Two weeks prior they had put out a plea in the Post Courier for assistance with water tanks. KK Kingston, the manufacturers of the famous Tuffa tanks came to their aid.

“On behalf of KK Kingston management and staff, we are happy to donate three (3) 9000Litre Tuffa tanks to Papa primary school on this World water day to help the school harvest water to prepare of the long dry seasons. The Tuffa tanks add an additional 27,000 Litres of water storage and we hope that they will go some way to assisting the school,” said KK Kingston National Marketing Manager, Christopher Elphick.

On the initiative, Papa primary school Headmaster, Mr Samuel Maiabau said, “We are thankful to KK Kingston for giving us such great support through these tanks donated.”
