The PNG Powerlifting Federation received K5, 000 worth of uniforms to participate in the 2015 Australian championship/ Pacific invitation courtesy of KK Kingston Limited.
In preparation for the upcoming Pacific Games powerlifting has planned to participate in several lead-up events and one of these is the Australian Championship/Pacific Invitation in Melbourne from April 10th to the 12th. It is an International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) requirement that participating countries must be in their country colours.
During the presentation, PNG Powerlifting Federation was pleased to receive support from KK Kingston who sponsored PNG Team tracksuits and training uniforms for the powerlifting team to partake in the Melbourne championship.
KK Kingston National Marketing Manager, Christopher Elphick said, “We are proud to support the PNG powerlifting team. They have some very talented lifters already showing great potential. On behalf of KK Kingston staff and management, we would like to wish the powerlifting team the best in the coming events and I’m sure they will make PNG proud.”
On the initiative, PNG powerlifting Interim President, Mr Raymond Haoda said, “On behalf of the PNG power lifting Federation I want to sincerely thank KK Kingston Limited for their great support and acknowledge CEO Michael Kingston and the National Marketing Manager, Chris Elphick. This sponsorship will no doubt boost the morale of our athletes and we hope that this is the start of a mutually long term relationship.
KK Kingston will also look forward to supporting more of this activity this year.
