KK Kingston Celebrates 40 Years

Today KK Kingston proudly celebrates it’s 40 year Anniverasry.

The board & management along with Kieth Kingston (founder & MD), his wife Judith, and son Michael (GM) are celebrating the occation with an event held at their Port Moresby office in Gordons.

Customers, business partners, long serving staff and members of the Port Moresby business community have been inviteed to join in the celebration.

KK Kingston was founded in 1972 by Keith Kingston & his wife Judy. The company's first office was in the garage of their home in Lae. In those early days, the business was focused on supplying tools & maintenance to the local industry, in particular the booming mining industry.

From our humble origins, KK Kingston has grown to become one of the largest privately owned manufacturing companies in Papua New Guinea. We produce more than 100 million products per year & supply more than 8000 different products to our customers in PNG. In doing so we employ more than 800 staff, 98% of whom are Papua New Guineans.

KK Kingston is a leader in the manufacture of plastics, industrial chemicals, paper, cooking oil & consumer goods. KK Kingston has stayed true to its roots & continues to supply machine tools, safety equipment, engineering, construction & other industrial products to PNG's industry sector.

KK Kingston prides itself on the long relationships we have had with many of our suppliers, & the long service of our staff. The accumulated experience, expertise & relations that result, are among key points of differentiation between KK Kingston & its rivals.
